Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
Unresting, unhasting, and silent as night,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might;
Justice like mountains high soaring above
Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.
To all, life Thou givest to both great and small;
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all;
We blossom and flourish as leaves on the teeth,
And wither and perish but nought changeth Thee.
Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light,
Thine Angels adore thee, all veiling their sight,
All laud we would render; O help us to see
'Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee.
| Drama: "Personalities of the Past" | |
| Anthem: "Gloria In Excelsis" from 12th Mass | Mozart |
| (Senior Choir) | |
Glorious is thy Name, Almighty Lord,
all the angels stand, stand round about thy throne;
Let all nations bow before thee, and declare thy wondrous works.
We praise thee, we give thanks to thee, we adore thee,
we glorify thee. Lord, we adore thee, we bless thee;
Lord, we thank thee for thy great glory.
Heaven is thy throne, and earth is thy foot-stool.
Thou art King over all the world.
Glorious is thy Name, O Lord, glorious is thy Name.
Blessing and honor be to God, for ever and evermore.

| Only four of the twenty-four former Rectors of Trinity are still living. We are fortunate to have one of those, the Rev. Paul D. Wilbur, now Rector of St. James' Church, New London, Conn., with us for this celebration. Fr. Wilbur was Rector of Trinity from 1946 to 1952, and Dean of the Diocese of Lexington from 1948 to 1952. |

| The Rev. Charles D. Snowden, now Rector of St. James' Church, Langhorne, Pa., was Rector of Trinity from 1943 to 1946. He was sent congratulations and best wishes, with regrets that he cannot be present because of commitments in Texas at this time. |
| The Rev. Bruce A. Weatherly, now Rector of Trinity Church, Moorestown, N.J., was Rector here from 1952 to 1959. During his rectorship the new parish house was started. In his letter of regrets at being unable to be present, he says, "The dream that some of us shared in the ministry of Trinity Church to the community surrounding it has been realized... Please extend my sincerest congratulations to the Vestry and our Friends." |
