Christian Formation following the 10 AM service:

For Adults following the 10 AM service:

Sunday Adult Bible Study: This gathering is an "intentional group" that meets after the 10:00 a.m. Eucharist. Participants are asked to make two commitments to the group. The first commitment is to attend the majority of the sessions. The second commitment is to prepare for each session by completing a weekly reading assignment. In September 2009, the group will begin a six week study of the book of Revelation. The group is limited to 11 persons.

Adult Forum gathers in the May Room for education and fellowship. Some programs address questions about our faith, liturgy and the Episcopal Church, others give voice to mission opportunities in the greater community and still other programs strengthen our fellowship. All are welcome. Convener: Jim Adams

Generally Xers meet to share insights into a common reading and to promote fellowship among this self-identified group. Contact Persons: Chris Kelley and Keith Johnson.

For Children following the 10 AM service:

Church school classes are available throughout the school year for children through the ninth Grade. Children encounter our Christian story in their worship programs during the Ministry of the Word portion of the Eucharist (Godly Play, Children’s Worship I and II) and post-Eucharist Sunday School classes using the Witness program. Director of Christian Formation: Gail Pennington.

For High Schoolers on Sunday Evenings:

Episcopal Youth Community (EYC): This group of young people (grades 7-12) meets weekly for a mix of prayer, fellowship and service to their church and community. Many attend Diocesan Youth Events at the Cathedral Domain and camping trips. The more the merrier. Advisor: Butch Clements

Other groups that meet through the week:

St. Anne’s Mothers’ Group:

This group supports mothers with young children in search of spiritual growth and nurturing. They meet the first Thursday of each month at 7 PM at Trinity for Bible study and socializing. Childcare is provided. Additionally, the women of St. Anne’s provide meals to new mothers in the parish through “Stork Support”.  Convener: Shannon Gemeinhardt and Nancy Grayson

Parish Community Night:

(1st Tuesday of the month, 6:00 p.m.) Adults gather for a simple supper and with the assistance of a DVD companion, explore together various dimensions of our Christian faith. Some participants come to every monthly gathering; others attend when a topic is of interest to them.

Experiencing Benedictine Spirituality:

This adult group studies and explores Benedictine Spirituality. Members are required to prepare for meetings by completing the assigned readings and doing the monthly prayer and reflection exercises. The group is limited to 11 persons.

Once a year:

Vacation Bible School:

VBS is a week of summer evening fun including dinner, games and lessons for approximately 50 children. Early sign up is essential.
