Snyder window

The Snyder Memorial
This window was placed in the former Chapel (now the Parlor) south of the South Transept as a memorial to Clinton Snyder, 1892-1972, who served on the Vestry and gave guidance in matters of insurance and finances for many years. A simple, chaste, stained glass panel, it is the gift of his sister, Mary Snyder. With the architectural simplification of the Chapel interior this single window was more compatible. The Riordan Studio designed and installed it -- and also the formerly adjacent cross and twenty-four square oculi that transmitted points of colored southern light through the exterior wall prior to the 1997-1998 renovation of the Parish House.
